Acrylic Frosted/Matte

Frosted or matte acrylic refers to a type of acrylic (also known as PMMA – polymethyl methacrylate) that has a non-glossy, diffused surface finish. Unlike clear or glossy acrylic, which is shiny and transparent, frosted/matte acrylic has a soft, muted appearance that scatters light and reduces reflections. It comes in various thicknesses, can be frosted on one or both sides and comes in cast acrylic (higher quality, better machining) or extruded acrylic (more cost-effective, but slightly less durable).
