Polycarbonate Sheet
Polycarbonate sheet (aka Lexan, Makrolon, Polygal) is available from Robertson Plastics in various thicknesses and types.
Polycarb is a very common plastic used for a wide variety of applications. It’s inherently clear and has a high impact resistance. You can literally take a hammer to this plastic and not break it. With this is mind it’s used for a lot of security and safety applications such as, Forklift covers, Excavator windshields, race car windows, riot shields, hockey helmet visors, enclosures, glazing, and more.
Available Grades:
Abrasion Resistant: Single sided and double sided options available.
Sign Grade: Ideal for backlit signs where impact resistance is desired.
Tinted: Green, Bronze and Grey tints are all available.
Clear: Your standard polycarbonate sheet.
Fire – Retardant: Has a high heat and flame resistance.
